    The Lovejoy Transitional Care Center (TCC) is designated for patients requiring a short stay following an illness, accident or injury.

    Most patients will receive physical and/or occupational therapy, provided in a dedicated, state-of-the-art therapy gym. All of our rooms are private and there is a dining room/lounge for the exclusive use of TCC patients.

    Well-balanced meals may be enjoyed in the formal dining area or in the comfort of one’s room.

    Our well-trained, experienced care professionals offer therapies and patient education to those recovering from illness, injury or elective surgery.

    Services include:
    • Orthopedic rehabilitation
    • Stroke rehabilitation
    • Cardiac rehabilitation
    • IV therapy
    • Recovery from other medically related hospitalization
    An interdisciplinary approach
    Located in a private wing, right off the main lobby within the Friendly Home, the TCC takes an interdisciplinary approach to help patients regain independence and rebuild strengths and capabilities.

    Personalized combinations of services are designed to focus on individual needs, including:

    Unparalleled Comfort and Attention to Total Wellness

    The Transitional Care Center     features its own gym/therapy area. All of our patient rooms are private, each with a bathroom, free phone and satellite TV, wireless access, DVD player and complimentary morning paper delivery. Patients will also enjoy use of a deluxe bath spa with whirlpool tub.

    Well-balanced meals may be enjoyed in the formal dining area or in the comfort of one’s room. Individuals are free to socialize in the dedicated lounge area with fireplace and comfortable furnishings, and benefit from all the Friendly Home in-house services, such as:
